The DKM FXC is the compact version of the DKM FX switching system. The FXC is a KVM cross point switch that provides 8 up to 48-ports in just 1U or 64-/80-ports in 2U of 19” rack space. Like the DKM FX the cross point switch gives multiple KVM users fast and reliable access to high-quality, real-time digital video plus a whole host of peripherals across the enterprise. Use it in any application where many users have to interface with CPUs and other high-end AV equipment supporting high-quality video.
Supported Video formats and interfaces Using non-blocking switch technology, the DKM FXC processes and routes DVI single-link or HDMI resolutions with Full HD 1080p, dual link DVI-D up to 2560 x 1600 and now also DisplayPort up to 4K @ 60fps with little or no delay of video. What’s more, it not only supports digital video, but also VGA video and connections to a wide array of peripherals, including USB HID, USB 2.0, RS-232, RS-422, Wacom® tablets, and even legacy PS/2 keyboards and mice. OS platform independent, the switch and its controller card can be accessed by Windows®, Linux®, and/or Mac OS® users. It’s especially ideal for enterprise networks and mission-critical control/command rooms, as well as video production or broadcasting applications where HD video is everything. Many users can connect their KVM consoles to various multimedia sources (computer, CPUs, servers, blue-ray servers etc.), either locally or in a distant room or office via the switch. And it’s very flexible. The DKM FXC cross point KVM Switch enables you to configure HD KVM switching and video routing exactly as you require. SDI and USB 3.0 Support The DKM FXC Universal Switches (ACXCxxU) enable instant matrix switching support for up to 32 KVM/SDI endpoints depending on the fiber of BNC-style SFPs used. Featuring a bandwidth of 6G, these models are designed for the switching and extension of USB 3.0, SD-SDI, HD-SDI and/or 3G-SDI signals. Just insert the SFP-transceivers (not included) for multimode fibre or coax, as you require to populate the SFP slots. Flexible Design. The DKM KVM matrix switch is available with 8, 16, 32, 48, 64 or 80 ports. Choose from models with pure CATx- or pure fibre connections. The switches with a fixed fibre configuration are available in two versions. For standard applications choose the fibre version with 1 Gbps bandwidth. The fibre highspeed version are designed for demanding applications offering a bandwidth of 3 Gbps. Mixed options with 48 CATx-ports and 16 or 32 standard fibre ports are also available. Each port can be either used to connect a user or a computer allowing you to build up a free scalable user/computer matrix. User and CPU connections going the distance. Each User and computer is connected via a DKM Extender over a CATx links up to 140m, multi-mode fiber up to 1km or single mode fiber link up to 10km. The DKM Extenders are available in a compact housing with DVI and a large variety of peripheral interfaces to support the requirements of your user consoles and computers. If a Compact DKM Extender doesn’t provide the data connections you require, choose a Modular DKM Extender. These extenders provide basically a digital video (DVI, HDMI or DisplayPort) plus USB HID connection and can be expanded with any combination of analog video inputs, further digital video ports for multi graphic applications, USB HID ports with extended functions, high- and full-speed USB 2.0, analog and digital audio as well as serial RS-232 or RS-422 data. Versatile switching capabilities. Switching can be performed using an on-screen display (OSD) or keyboard commands. Using the optional Software packages you can control the switch even via an external Media Controller, an IP- or a serial connection. Or use the optional Force Connect and JAVA tool to define switching presets. No matter the route, KVM switching can be shared with any other KVM user, connected directly or connected remotely through a DKM Extender. With the Glide and Switch software you may even switch by pulling your mouse over multiple screens to your target source. Switches within milliseconds. Users can switch seamlessly and almost instantaneously from one CPU to another. It takes just milliseconds for this to happen (similar IP-based types of solutions can take as long as 15 seconds to perform this action). Management. For advanced administration use the optional ACX-SYS Software upgrade to integrate your DKM FXC KVM switching system into your SNMP management and syslog security. Reduces downtime. Modular in design, the DKM FXC enables you to change peripheral and CPU connections on the fly and ensures zero downtime. Designed for easy expansion. Add connections and change inputs/outputs as your enterprise needs evolve. When a department purchases new hardware, just connect it via a DKM Extender to an empty port at the switch or replace an existing connection. Using the ACX-CAS Software Upgrade, you can also cascade multiple switch chassis into larger DKM FX or DKM FXC switching systems. Integration into DKM FX Systems. The DKM FXC is also an ideal expansion tool for your DKM DX HD Video and Peripheral Matrix Switching System. If the ports on your DKM FX don’t leave enough room for additional user and server connections, choose the appropriate cost efficient FXC model and integrate further ports seamless into your FX switching system. |
